Our mission is to champion inward investment into the marine sector - capital, skills and enterprise. To achieve this aim and to protect our client's commercial interests we welcome buyers with a genuine interest and motivation to acquire a marine business. NDA registration provides the opportunity for us to judge the level of contact, information and support such a buyer requires from our experienced team.
This started a very long and hard process leading to the eventual acquisition of the business, 6 months in all. We had previously looked at several other businesses and found that as buyer we had to do most of the legwork ourselves, so it was refreshing to find that First Peninsula was always available to help us. Even though its main responsibility was to the vendor we had constant representation from First Peninsula throughout the buying process including accompanied visits which put both parties at ease because it meant there was a specialist intermediary present during meetings to witness discussions and provide advice and follow-up management to monitor transaction progress.
